Sunday Club: The children and young people usually join the adults at the start of the service before leaving for their own activities. Our team of leaders and helpers prepare a range of activities for them to enjoy and these are often shared with the whole congregation.

Monday Bible Study: This is a group which looks at various themes and is open to anyone wishing to explore more about the Bible and the Christian Faith. There is no pressure or expectation of knowledge, just a desire to get together and discuss topics of interest.

Coffee shop: Run jointly with St. John’s, toast, teacakes, cuppa soup and roll, teas and coffees are on offer.

Ladies Circle: A group who meet to hear an invited speaker and share a social time together.

Fellowship Group: This is an ecumenical group who follow a theme for a few weeks. We meet in someone’s home and share refreshments as well as thoughts, ideas and Biblical themes. Our topics have included “What’s so Amazing about Grace?” by Philip Yancey, the York Lent courses, “Christian Spirituality”, New Testament Characters and many more.

Blokes who sing: A group of men from the locality who simply enjoy getting together to sing on Thursday evenings. They enjoy a range of music and are often invited to sing at local events as well as singing at Washingborough Methodist at various times throughout the year during the Saturday coffee morning, raising money for charity as they entertain. Once a month the weekly rehearsal is rounded off with a visit to a local hostelry!

Coffee Morning: This has been a long-standing weekly event at Washingborough and is well supported. There is good quality, fair trade coffee as well as tea and quite often - tea-cakes!!

Prayer – while the coffee morning is on the chapel is also open for anyone who wishes to enjoy some peace and quiet.
